Disney+Hotstar is set to create history with its upcoming show, “The Night Manager: An Indian Adaptation.” On 17th February 2023, the Indian adaptation of John le Carré’s bestselling book will be released and for the first time ever, it will feature Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur as its cover stars.
Gaurav Banerjee, Head of Content at Disney+Hotstar & HSM Entertainment Network, spoke highly of the show, “The Night Manager is based on John le Carre’s book and it is a full circle of the show’s journey to now be featured on the cover. It’s such a strong validation of our Indian version and we couldn’t be more thrilled.”

Both Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur expressed their excitement and gratitude for the honor. Kapoor stated, “To be featured on the cover of a bestselling novel is one of the most memorable moments of my acting career. I couldn’t have imagined something like this even in my wildest dreams.” Kapur added, “The Night Manager has been a very special project for me. I’m a huge fan of the book and for our poster to make it to the cover of the book it’s based on, it’s a wonderful validation for all the work the whole team has put in.”
The sons of John le Carré, Nick, Stephen, and Simon Cornwell, were thrilled with the adaptation as well, stating, “It’s wonderful to see two of Bollywood’s greatest actors, Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, on the cover of the book!” Manoj Satti, Group Vice President at Penguin Random House India, echoed their excitement, “It is a moment of absolute joy to witness an international book of such renown being made into an Indian OTT show.”
